| RCDC Centre for Forestry and Governance took the initiative to organize an interface of buyers and sellers of Sal seed in the month of April-2007. The purpose of organizing such an interface was to facilitate the marketing process of Sal seed in the coming months. Along with RCDC-CFG a few other organizations came forward to facilitate the process in different parts of the state. The intervention has proved to be fruitful in some districts as the price offered is quite high in comparison to other places. The table below gives the price scenario of a few districts where NGOs had intervened.
