Second Global Summit on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants

Century Foundation, Bangalore is organizing the Second Global Summit on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. The First Global Summit on Medicinal Plants was held in Mauritius during September 2003. The purpose of the summit was to attract medicinal plant experts to discuss the recent trends in the field of medicinal plants and importance of herbal medicine in the new millennium. The objectives of the second summit are as under: -

•  To provide a global forum for researchers, academicians, policy makers, growers, traders, manufacturers of herbal medicine and professionals in the field of traditional and other alternative therapies to share knowledge, experiences, and ideas

•  To plan future strategies in medicinal and aromatic plants research, education and training and development.
